Services

Health West provides a range pf primary and preventive care services in English and Spanish at its five clinics. Primary and preventive services for all age groups include:

• Immunizations
• Cholesterol, blood pressure, and diabetes screening
• Chronic disease management for diabetes, high blood pressure, Etc.
• Acute care with same day appointments for upper respiratory infections
• Basic emergency services such as suturing and basic fracture care
• Prenatal services in Aberdeen, American Falls, Lava, and Downey at Health West and in Pocatello through the Pocatello Family Medicine Clinic
• HIV/STD screening
• Family planning services
• Physicals for immigration, Head Start, sports, DOT
• Diagnostic laboratory, Outreach, and Case Management

Health West has arrangements with community providers for referrals for mental health, substance abuse, dental, and specialty care. Patients in need of hospitalization are admitted to Portneuf Medical Center.
