Dirne Health Centers (DHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center in northern Idaho. During its first year (2004), Dirne Health Centers provided services to 3,806 individuals. This number has continued to steadily increase each year, with 8,089 individuals served in 2009.
Opportunity Description
DHC has an opening for a Family Physician without OB to join their team of two physicians, three physician assistants, three nurse practitioners, three dentists and three behavioral health providers. Clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. with no evening or weekend hours required. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2010. Spanish language skills are preferred, but not required.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is listed as competitive/DOE. In addition to the potential for loan repayment through the National Health Service Corps, DHC offers the following benefits:
- Vacation/PTO: 5.83 hours per pay period/140 hours per year

Missoula, Montana is 180 miles to the east, and Seattle, Washington, is 330 miles to the west. The Canadian border is 90 miles to the north.
