Student Loan Repayment Opportunity - Apply before February 26, 2010!

The Idaho Rural Physician Incentive Program is aimed at providing assistance for those communities of rural Idaho which can demonstrate difficulty in attracting and maintaining enough physicians to serve their population. Applications are made jointly by a physician and an organization or institution (i.e., a hospital or clinic) located in the rural community in which the physician wishes to practice. IPCA is Awarded Idaho SEARCH Program Contract

The Idaho SEARCH (Students/Residents Experiences and Rotations in Community Health) Program, funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, provides opportunities for health professions students and residents to serve on multidisciplinary health care teams in underserved comunities. IPCA has successfully managed the program for 10 years, placing health professions students and residents in rotation opportunities, many of which led to permanent placement in Idaho's rural and underserved communities. Expansion Grant Creates Behavioral Health Opportunity in Southeastern Idaho

Health West, Inc., based in Pocatello received a behavioral health expansion grant award. Also a six-clinic system in southeast Idaho, they are looking for a Master's level BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL to provide care in American Falls and Aberdeen, Idaho.
