SEARCH experiences include profession-specific as well as multi-disciplinary clinical activities. Participants are placed in 4 - 6 week rotations at approved sites where they are matched with a preceptor and a community mentor. As a participant in the Idaho SEARCH program you'll be required to complete a community project that addresses a specific need in the clinic and/or community. You will meet with your preceptor and community mentor to determine a suitable focus for your project and will be expected to spend 20-25 hours outside of clinic time to complete the project. Click on the links below to view examples of past medical and dental community projects completed during SEARCH rotations.
